My first memory of you was when I was four years old. My older brother and your younger sister were friends through our families, church, and school. They died in a car accident Friday, June 17, 1966. Our familes were bonded together from that point forward. I remember playing "peak-a-boo" with you at Clark's Department store. The last memory that I have of you was standing next to your casket, not really sure why you were not around any more. The Marine standing at the door of the mortuary scared me, but I knew he was there to protect you somehow. I will be visiting The Vietam Veterans Memorial soon and I promise to look you up. Rest in peace, and I look forward to seeing you again someday when I leave this earth.

For CPL/E-4, Timothy Bauer and all those, who knew him and loved him, I just want to say thank you, for your dedication and sacrifice! Please know, that you have, not been forgotten and always will hold a special place, in my heart! It would have been nice, to have known you, as a person and I greatly, appreciate your service! I just wish, you did not have to pay, so, high a price! You forever will, be a hero, in my eyes!
