West Virginia Veteran
I joined the Army in 1976 and it was was shocked that three brave souls born in 1957 (as I was) were killed. As a fellow West Virginian (Logan County) "Mountaineer Are Always Free" and as soldier and lastly as an American I honor your service to your countrymen that can never repaid with anything that is mortal. May God grant Private Danny G. Marshall eternal peace in His glorious presence. Thank You so much!

A Hero Never Forgotten
Today (11/10/05 )i attended a Veterans Tribute conducted by the student body at Williamstown High School. This ceromony took place in the very same gym where years ago Danny and I both wrestled and did all the things a person does in High School. While sitting there today listening to all the tributes coming from other vets my mind drifted back to this fine American Hero. I have never forgotten you, Danny. During my own military career ( 1974-1986 ) i used to mention your name and your memory to other military folks that i encountered. I have listed your name on countless tributes across the land while being involved with veterans business like the American Legion, Veterans Day events, etc. I was not a speaker for todays event, i would have mentioned you had i been one. I just moved back to the Mid Ohio Valley this past July (2005) after being away for over 30 years. I am proud to honor your memory.and i am proud to have known you. This city should be proud in honoring you as well. You gave the ultimate sacrifice, and i salute you for that, and i salute you for your military service as well. You left behind people who loved you.and i am sure that they have never forgotten you.nor will they ever. God Bless You Danny
