A terrific friend, comrade, and Ranger who served on missions with me. I carried you from the Med Evac from
your 'Last Mission' and have always regreted I wasn't on that mission with you. I'm sorry I didn't learn that I could pay you the tribute you deserve before now. If it is any consolation, I have visited you twice in the years since and placing my hand on your panel brought me to tears each time. I will visit you again, my friend, before I join you.

We all share, the grief, of loss
I was the childhood friend, of his sister, Maryann, through the Grace, Baptist Church, in Camden. I remember, his picture and medals on a shelf, in their home. Have lost touch for many, many years. My only brother was very, very critically wounded, in about 1969, doing well, but not, without "scars." I grieve, the lack, of respect & honor, given VN., Vets.
