John  Franklin hurst18@charter.net None Baltimore MD It's my understanding that LCPL Richard Fitzgibbon is the son of Air Force TSGT Richard Fitzgibbon who was killed in Vietnam in 1955.Assuming that's true it's mindboggling to to me to think of the sacrifice that the Fitzgibbon family made in the service of our great nation.I pray that both father *and* son rest in peace and that their family's great sadness has been tempered by a sense of enormous pride. They run down, my face, to see, the fallen officer, in my family. It is, so powerful. Yet, there are people, out there, who want, to be a part of the war, many wish, they themselves, were, never part of. Give respect, to the heros, that deserve it. Tuesday, December 07, 1999
