I had the Honor of knowing and serving with Joe at Camp Carter. He was and always will be my friend and Hero. It was so sad that he gave it all. May God be with him and Bless him to eternity. His friend Bill Maxwell

2, Coriinthians, chapter 1, vs 8-11 8We do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about the hardships we suffered in the province of Asia. We were under great pressure, far beyond our ability to endure, so that we despaired even of life. 9Indeed, in our hearts we felt the sentence of death. But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead. 10He has delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us. On him we have set our hope that he will continue to deliver us, 11as you help us by your prayers. Then many will give thanks on our[a] behalf for the gracious favor granted us in answer to the prayers of many.

“You are Remembered”
Peace and condolence, to the family and friends. “He which hath no stomach, to this fight, let him depart. But we in it, shall be remembered. We few, we happy few, we band of brothers!! For he today, that sheds his blood with me, shall always be my brother.” Rest in peace brave soldier, you have not been forgotten. (W.Shakespeare) May God Bless you, for your Sacrifice!!!

Joe was like a big brother to me. He had the best laugh, the goofiest grin, and could do the best "James Brown spin" of anyone. We will never forget him. To all of you who served, thank you for the sacrifice. To all of you who lost loved ones, I share your pain.
