Bill and I went to the Peekskill MIlitary Academy together - where he graduate in 1965. Bill was a year ahead of me, but we became close on the athletic field. Bill was the goalie on our lacrosse team and I played crease attack so we went head to head every day in practice. Bill was a free spirit. I still remember sitting having a smoke with him as he explained about all of the extra money that he was going to make by joining the 101st and getting combat pay. I still miss this guy.

High School Buddies
Hello Bill. It's your your old friend, doug. I'm sure you remember me. We used to be best friends. Remeber we skipped school when in 7th grade at PMA? We went to the park and you taught me to smoke ciggerettes. Newports. I've never forgotten you for that. I've quit now, just 4 years ago. But I still think of that day in the park, we met those gals who also skipped classes from a nearby school. Gosh what a day! I'll always remember that day, like it was yesterday! Gosh buddy, I miss you. I often wonder about our times. You know, I joined the Army too. Wish we had met up there, that would have been fun huh buddy? Just like old times. I know you know what I'm talking about. Well, got to go now Bill. Take care and take it easy on those butts. You really should quit you know. Take care Bill, I'll catch up with you one day.
