“You are Remembered”
Peace and condolence, to the family and friends. “He which hath no stomach, to this fight, let him depart. But we in it, shall be remembered. We few, we happy few, we band of brothers!! For he today, that sheds his blood with me, shall always be my brother.” Rest in peace brave soldier, you have not been forgotten. (W.Shakespeare) May God Bless you, for your Sacrifice!!!

My Brother I Never Knew
My name is Lisa. I was Arthur's biological niece. Crystal was my birth mother but when Arthur was killed, her being his twin, she took a bad dive and left me with their parents, Charles and Roberta, who adopted me about a month after he was killed. I was 5 days short of 25 months old when he died but my 'parents' were shocked when I sat there in my late twenties and told them precisely EVERY detail of his funeral planning, the memorial and burial to the tee. Right down to where the plants were in the office of the funeral director. I feel so honored that the very last letter Arthur wrote home arrived addressed to me, at the ginger age of 2 and still having it to this day, he wished me a happy 2nd birthday and you can tell from his words that he knew it would be his last correspondence. My brother Danny passed away Jan. 2004 and he had all of Arthur's medals, bars, stripes, etc. His wife Judy is being kinda nasty about returning them but my 17 year old son would love to have his uncle's things. That is actually how we came to find this message board. Adam's (my son) teacher is making a trip to the wall and when he told her about his uncle's name being on it she has offered to make a sketch for us. My sister Charlotte passed May 2001, Crystal passed in 2002. Mom (Roberta) passed DEC 98 but dad is now here in Georgia where I live.

LT., You were, a hard charging, LT. and you meant well. Sorry we didn't get, to know each other better, but you were an officer, so we enlisted, guys, didn't socialize, much, with you. It was a rough day, back then and we, finally did win that battle, but we, took some hits. I got out, of the Army and later, came back in, as an Officer, like you. I also got, to serve again, with the 173rd, Abn., Bde., Sept., in Iraq, in 2003-2004, the "Herd" still, kicks ass! Thanks, for your leadership and ultimate sacrifice. You guys are, in my thoughts and prayers daily. I Salute You, LT.! The dumb draftee, Indian boy, from Georgia.

A Hero Remembered
Ditto Kim Kimmel we did know Art and were raised with him in SP. Was in the "Hooch" two years later than he. Art was a best of men and his memory will be treasured forever in our hearts. His brother, Danny, was the first barber to cut my hair in post-Vietnam life! From Art's friends, neighbors, fellow parishoners and schoolmates from SPHS and St. Martins-in-the Field Episcopal Church of Severna Park, Maryland. The Smith Brothers, Ned, Jeff, and Truitt

CHARLES, WE NEVER MET, BUT TODAY, IS YOUR BIRTHDAY AND I WILL, TAKE THIS TIME, TO REMEMBER YOU AND GIVE THANKS, FOR WHAT YOU, GAVE. I HOPE GOD, HAS BLESSED YOU AND THAT, YOUR FAMILY AND LOVED ONES, HAVE FOUND PEACE, OVER THE YEARS. IS THERE, A MORE NOBLE, THING, A MAN CAN, DO, THAN ANSWER, THE CALL, OF HIS COUNTRY AND THEN GIVE HIS LIFE? OUR COUNTRY IS, A GREAT COUNTRY AND WILL REMAIN THAT WAY, AS LONG, AS THERE ARE PEOPLE, LIKE LT., CHARLES BEDSOLE.
