Frank Drumheller- I remember after 40 years!
Darl Its been 40 years, but I still remember that last time I saw you. It was a day or so after your high school graduation in early June, 1964. You stopped by the gym to pick up some of your baseball and track gear. You were driving the little '62 Buick Special convertible that was a part of your graduation. The smile on your face, even with those new front teeth (permanent ones lost in a football game in the Fall of '63), was the ever present smile everyone knew so well. Man, you had the whole world by the tail!! So much promise, such a waste of a human life on this date 40 years ago. So much time since, but I'll never forget you, your personality, the good-natured guy who put effort into everything he tried. You are more than just another student, more than just another teenager- you're Darl McDorman for now and always. May you rest forever in the arms of God and may your name on the WALL be forever etched in the hearts of those who loved you. You ARE our HERO!!!
