Remembering a friend on Veterans Day
Jerry E Miller pfc USMC first served as a seagoing marine aboard the USS Columbus CG-12. I was a FTM3 USN onboard with him at that time. My birthday is 11-15-46, which meant we were less than a month apart. He was nicknamed Peaches on account of his babyface. We were told we should be brothers. He was my friend and always made me laugh. I still miss him. My condolences to his family and friends.
