Remembering Dale
My uncle died when I was four years old. The things I remember is he liked to play the guitar and also he looked just like my dad Norman. I never seen the memorial wall, but my father, sister, and my husband have seen it. My sister said it is very powerful and the feelings you experience are heart-wrenching and hard to describe. She said as you stand there, it's like there is absolute silence. Even as I write, I can't help but cry because of the loss of an uncle I never had the chance to really know.
