Danny proudly served in the 2nd brigade, Co D, 1/501, 101st airborne infantry. He was in 2nd platoon, 2nd squad. His tour started on Jan 5, 1968 , two weeks after the second brigade left Ft Benning, Ga. We his family would like to hear from anyone who knew Danny, or who served with him in this tough outfit. He was a hero.
