Garnet Jenkins Grand Junction Co. Never Forgotten In Remembrance of this Young Marine Hero, with a Multitude of Thanks for his Courage, Service and Dedication to our Country and for Freedom. Rest well Cpl Treweek and know that you will NEVER BE FORGOTTEN. I am the sister of such a young hero, who made the Supreme Sacrifice in Vietnam 1967..... ."NOR SHALL YOUR GLORY BE FORGOT, WHILE FAME HER RECORD KEEPS, OR HONOR POINTS TO THE HALLOWED SPOT, WHERE VALOR PROUDLY SLEEPS" ~ Theodore O'Hara ~
I had the opportunity to visit The Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington DC. I was so overwhelmed with sorrow and pain that I could not hold back the tears for those heroes and their families who lost so much. Though my visit to the Wall was a few years ago, I feel that I left a piece of my heart there. To honor those who died in the Vietnam War and to say thank you I created a small tribute to those heroes. Please click on the link above to view memorial website. Thursday, April 22, 2004
