Thank you, my friend
On the night before Larry Don shipped back to California from leave to go to Nam, Patsy Murdock, Marc Jolly (home on leave from the Army), Larry Don and I all rode around our home together and just hung out. We 3 were probably some of the last of his school friends to spend time with him. He had the brightest smile and the quickest wit. Still miss him in our home town. Rest in peace, my friend.

“You are Remembered”
Peace and condolence, to the family and friends. “He which hath no stomach, to this fight, let him depart. But we in it, shall be remembered. We few, we happy few, we band of brothers!! For he today, that sheds his blood with me, shall always be my brother.” Rest in peace brave soldier, you have not been forgotten. (W.Shakespeare) May God Bless you, for your Sacrifice!!!

Memories of a freckled smiling face
LARRY I CAN STILL SEE YOUR BEAMING SMILE AND FRECKLED FACE AS A SCHOOL BOY. I FOLLOWED IN YOUR FOOT STEPS AND RODE YOUR AMTRACKS IN THE SANDs of VIET NAM. SORRY YOU DIDN'T GET TO COME BACK TO ENJOY THE FREEDOMS YOU FOUGHT FOR. YOUR SACRAFICE WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN BY ME AND WHEN I LOOK AT OLD GLORY AS SHE WAVES IN THE BREEZE I'LL ALWAYS SEE YOUR SMILING FACE. FREEDOM THAT MANY TAKE FOR GRANTED I KNOW THE COST AND AGAIN THANKS FOR WHAT YOU GAVE AND MAY GOD BLESS YOU. HOPE TO SEE YOU AGAIN ONE DAY LARRY.
