FOR THOSE WE'VE LOST
For the Red, White, and Blue
Did our big boys stand true
Fighting all the communist ways
To keep our freedom through the days
As we've lost some of our friends
And some fathers, sons, and husbands
We will not forget the men
Who did not come home again
And though sometimes we may cry
Always asking and wondering:
"WHY?"
All our loss and all our pain
Has resulted in so much gain
So when you begin to miss them
Just remember to read this again
To all those boys and all those men
