A visit to "THE WALL" for some
Is a time to cry
for those who never came home.
A visit to the "THE WALL" for some
Is a time to
mend old wounds of the heart and soul.
A visit to the "THE WALL" for some
Is to say: I'm
sorry for being alive.
A visit to the "THE WALL" for some
Is to remember
the good times they had
With those who
did not come home.
A visit to the "THE WALL" for me
Was a time to
heal a heart full of pain for those I
knew who died,
For they died. . .But I
came home.
A visit to the "THE WALL" will be many things to
many people
But to me it has healed my
soul
And made me feel proud to have been
there.
