Captain Morvan Darrell Turley
. . Contributed By Cindy ManningOn Saturday, April 04, 1998
I hope to find someone who served with my uncle Morvan. He was shot down and KIA in South Vietnam, Phuoc Tuy Province on Jan. 13. 1967. He was a Captain and an Air Force Pilot who flew F-100-d 's. The info says he was in the Reserves-This IS NOT correct! His brother says he would be mad if he knew he was listed as in the Reserves! I am told he loved to fly and wanted to be where the action was. He was from Kansas City, Mo and had 5 brothers. He was married to a japanese woman, Shizuko (Mori) Turley. He is still very much missed by his family. I don't know what Unit or Squadron he was with, but I would like to know more about my uncle. Does anyone out there have any information about Morvan or the unit he was in? Thank you, Veterans!
