Barbara  Johnson Childersburg, Al. Forever grateful They went with songs to the battle, they were young. Straight of limb, true of eye, steady and aglow. They were staunch to the end against odds uncounted. They fell with their faces to the foe. Remembering you today Clifton Bishop Anderson. Thank you for your ultimate sacrifice. Nov 3, 2007
James Lindsay lindsayj@planetc.com with him in the plane 3121, point pleasant rd., Newport, TN., 37821, USA Thanks Thank you for your service to our nation. I was with you on the plane that day and for 40 years, I thought of those that were with me that day, as well as their families. In the fall of 2005, I met a man in Branson MO. Who ask me about my scars, I told him I was in a plane crash the 25th of July 1966 in DaNang, we parted without exchanging names and went on the rest of our vacation. Upon returning home, we had a message on the phone recorder from the Motel in Branson, I called and the Manager told me the man that ask me about my scars had called the motel many times trying to locate me. I gave her my phone number and he called a short time later to tell me he knew the man that pulled us off the plane that day. I went to Texas to meet this man and from that visit, ultimately found the daughter of Major Andrews (killed in the crash), who was just 12 years old when she lost her Father. I went to meet her and she had a flight accident report with a passenger manifest that listed all aboard that day, name rank and service number. There were 29 aboard that day, 8 died, 21 survived. Since that day in November of 2005, I have found 19 of the 21 survivors, and one answered a web posting , but not me. We had a reunion this year and along with the survivors, we were blessed to have two of Major Andrews daughters and LtCol Cleeland’s son. If anyone has any info of family members, please contact me at lindsayj@planetc.com or call 423-625-1917, 3121 Point Pleasant Rd, Newport, TN 37821. Aug 28, 2007

A HERO, is one, who feels fear and acts courageously, in spite, of his fear. That was my father. He was afraid, to go, yet he went. I call that, HERO. Sunday, October 31, 1999
