Lionel DeCuir Wtmgc@aol.com Friend 103 Jolly Way Waxahachie, Tx 75165 United States FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS
Lt. Ronald Alan Miller graduated from Midwestern University in Wichita Falls, Texas, in 1964. His Midwestern University Senior picture can be seen on page 144 of the WAI-KUN. Ron was a member of the Midwestern University ROTC porgram and in his senior year he was the Cadet Platoon Leader of the 2nd Platoon of Company C. His picture can be seen in the 1964 WAI-KUN as 2nd Platoon Leader on page 99. Ron was a member of Scabbard and Blade, CCBC, and was a Biology Major. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Ron was the first person to be killed in Vietnam from Wichita Falls, Texas. He stayed with Diane and I at Ft. Benning, Georgia when he reported to active duty for IOBC. He dated my wife at Midwestern before she and I met. He was a serious student, studied hard, and was a kind and caring person. Ron, you gave everything for so many. Our thoughts have been with you many times and Diane and I will always have a special place in our hearts for you. You and so many others made the ultimate sacrifice and you will FOREVER BE IN OUR HEARTS. If you served with Lt. Ron Miller in Vietnam please contact us.
