http://Through his teaching and singing Sgt J. Amos was my hero. I served 26 years because of what I learned from him. Even though he made me share my home made cookies with the others I still loved him and honored him. I truly believe that he was trying to save someone else at the time. I was leaving the country when he lost the battle with life, his name will live on forever in my heart. God's Blessings to his family for whom he talked gt Amos when I was in BCT.
Sgt. Joe Amos was a true leader he was my hero in BCT and I listen to all that he had to say.He will always be in my heart, because of him and his instructions I was able to retire from the Army. Love you SFC Amos.

I love you, Daddy!
Daddy, though I was only nine years old when you died so so far away, you are always in my heart. You were gone only 12 days when we received the news it never seemed fair to have lost you that way. And so soon. But I know that being a soldier meant so much to you and that you fought bravely with God's sword of righteousness with you. I am so proud of you! I have two beautiful children that you would be proud of, but I know you are watching over us all and that you know them well. I love you, Dad. Rest in peace with God. I keep you in my heart always.

To the family of Joe, i served with Joe in the Korea War he was a super guy and and a great soldier ,and it was and honor for me to have known and served with him ,and it because of guys like Joe that we live in a free nation .God Bless Joe and his Family
