McRice On Sunday, April 22, 2001 Memorial Day 2001 Dedication of San Francisco Vietnam Veterans Memorial Plaque On Memorial Day, May 28th 2001, a ceremony to honour the 163 San Franciscans killed in Vietnam will be held, at Justin Herman Plaza in San Francisco. The plaque with all 163 names will be unveiled. The exact time has not been officially announced but it will be between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM. POW/MIA-WO2 Dennis Omelia 1-3-71 . . Contributed By Mark Harris On Sunday, April 22, 2001 I attained this POW bracelet while in bct at Ft. Ord, Cal. Aug.72. It has been with me since and have always wonder if Dennis has ever been accounted for. I have felt Dennis and I had some things in common as I wound up as a helicopter crewchief. Recently I have joined "Dober's Den", a mil/vet website which is a member of "Operation Just Cause". I am now searching for more info pertaining to Dennis and his family.

Ussery while in Vietnam December 67 through September 68. He was with 1/77 Artillery, but attached to HHC 1/5 Cavalry. Wish to hear from others who witnessed the shooting down of a LOH in the distance (from Camp Evans) and were told no survivors. This was to have occurred on or about September 28, 1968. Thank you.

Mobley, who was killed in a mid-air collision at Can Tho, SVN. My dad was on his second tour and was with the 156th Avn. Co. (RR)- 224th Avn. Btn. (RR) from June-Nov. '70 (He was with the 187th Assault Helicopter Co. in Tay Ninh, SVN in 67-68 on his first tour). Looking for anyone who served with him.would greatly appreciate in information you might have.
