CHARLES GELLER . . Contributed By yancy On Monday, June 04, 2001 Oh Charlie, why didn't you stay in the seminary? What a funny little guy you were. You so resembled one of the teachers at Assumption High School, E. St. Louis, Ill. You would have been Father Geller by now, long by now. Instead you are a memory of those long by gone days way back when we were oh so young and carefree, our hearts were young and free. I have grown old and you will always be so young, just the way I always remembered you. You should have stayed in the seminary, Charlie. It was a great shock to find your name on the wall in 1993. I had heard nothing about you for so many years. It is a shame it came to this. Remember you always, Father Geller, Class of 1965,A.H.S., East St. Louis, Illinois, from a friend.
