Every day Marines go to the wall from the Marine Barracks, DC and polish the brass plaque for the Corps. Why do not the other services show their respect by doing the same.

I have recently seen the pictures of the Marines shining the plaques. Why aren't the other plaques being shined. We cannot forget these other men and women that died for our great nation. Who do we contact to accomplish this. I'm a former Marine, but what about the survivors of the lost ones. What is the message they are receiving when they see the Army, Navy, and Air Force unshined, that the loss of their loved one has been forgotten? The men and women of today's armed forces need to realize and respect the lost lives of their fellow servicemen. Is the price of Brasso and time, too costly for today's military? We must make a difference and rectify this situation.
