James Leland Scroggins

Looking for information about SP/5 James Leland Scroggins who was a CH-47 Crew Chief and KIA 23Feb, 1973. He was the only fatality on the helicopter after it crash-landed following a hit by a SAM while on a Peacekeeping mission the morning of 16Feb, 1973 near An Loc. On that mission, he was acting as the Flight Engineer. He was severely burned and moved to Okinawa following the crash where he died on 23 Feb, 1973. Looking for relatives of James Melvin Hinkle, SP4 of the 101st Airborne Div, I-cor 1st of 327. He was killed at Quang Nam, South Vietnam on October 21, 1971. He was my buddy and I have some pictures of him I'd like to give to his family.

Looking for relatives of Luther Burnett Ward, Jr he was a SP4 of the 101st Airborne Div, I-cor 1st of 327. He was killed at Lam Dong, South Vietnam on October 30, 1971. He was my buddy and I have some pictures of him I'd like to give to his family.

I was given a MIA bracelet when I was nine. I have worn it for the past 21 years, except for when my cousin asked to wear it when he went to Saudi with the 82nd Airborne. I recently was referred to a website that featured an article on the movie HEARTS AND MINDS. It mentioned Lt. George Coker in a bad light. I have enough sense not to judge the man on his comments. I would like to know if this is the same man and would like him to know that I have had him in my heart all these years and if he wants his bracelet.

Looking for anyone who served with my father-in-law in Vietnam or stateside. He passed away when my husband was two months old. He was an E-9 in the Army. At the time of his death he was stationed at McClellan, Alabama. My husband is in the Air Force and would like to know more about him.
