My mother met my father in Vietnam Oct-Nov of 1970. I resently had a friend went to DC and found his name on the wall. I also just learned that he died Dec 1970. He was only 19. My mother still has one picture of him. We also learned that his home town is evansville, In. My father's name is Kerry W. Philips. If you search on thevirtualwall.org by name you can find ANYONE who died in service in Vietnam. This website posts every person who was in the service. Many times others have posted a remembrance there to that person who could be a platoon buddy relative or friend. Usually an email is there to contact them. Worth looking at if you are searching for someone who knew your loved one. Good Luck.

I have a Mia/Pow bracklet with the name of Major Richard Bolstad, 11/6/65.I would like to return to him or his family. I have worn this bracklet since 1967.

If anyone served with this outfit from Sept 1967 - Feb 1969 and knew SP/4 Robert David Rogers or Thomas Skondin please contact me. Bob died in a jeep accident with less than 2 months to go incountry after extending for 6 months. Bob was from Livonia, Michigan and was my fiance.

Jane Renwick February 23,2003 Thank A Vet You have made a difference for us all, When you answered your duty's call. To sign up for the draft you were bound, Eagerly men and boys went outward-bound. Peace time returned and the draft was gone, So volunteers are now carrying-on. "Old Glory" was and still is honored, You saved us all from being conquered. I wish to tell you before its too late, Thank you, you're the hero I congratulate. This country's freedom is our way of life, Promised to each and every man or wife. You made a difference with your body and soul, Why are you being given the rigamarole? You did your duty and did it with pride, Now maimed or crippled this country should provide. It is your pocket needing food and supplies, Now is not the time to disqualify. Once qualified always qualified for the "home front", Anything less dishonors, is an affront. Where is honor and pride and duty now? Yours is still there, this country's disavow. I wish there was a way to put "them" in the hoosegow, God bless the Spirit of America anyhow. I'V BEEN WEARING HIS BRACLET FOR A LONG TIME. IT;S IN VERY GOOD CONDITION AND I WOULD LIKE TO GIVE IT TO THEM. I WAS ALSO IN THE VIETNAM CONFLICT WHILE SERVING IN THE UNITED STATES NAVY. I DON'T KNOW IF THIS GENTLEMAN HAS BEEN FOUND BUT I SURE WOULD LIKE TO FIND OUT.

I have the POW/MIA bracelet for Capt. Thomas T. Hart III. I have worn it since 1973 and feel it is time to give it back to his family. I recently researched to find his name and status only to learn he still may be missing in action, and with God's will, may still be alive in Laos. My heart goes out to his family and wish they would contact me.
