Vietnam vets and Type 2 Diabetes

It is estimated that 10% of surviving Vietnam veterans are afflicted with Type 2 Diabetes and that many are still unaware of it. Type 2 Diabetes is now presumed to be a result of exposure to Agent Orange and as such any in-country Vietnam veteran who has been diagnosed with this condition is entitled to free medical supplies and care related to it and monthly disability compensation. Contact your local VA representative or the Disabled American Veterans for assistance in filing your claim. If you have not been tested--GET IT DONE.

Hello everyone. I am a student at Lake Central High School in Indiana. I am doing my part in researching fallen soliders. We have been researching men and women for the State of Indiana who gave their lives in the Vietnam War since 1986. I have been assigned a man named Robert E. Shaffer. He was 19 years old when he sadly died. If you have any information please e-mail me. I would love to know any information you may be able to give me. I believe it is important to honor the men and women who gave their lives for our country.
