Hi, I am Bre Ventimiglia and I am currently doing research for the state of Indiana. We are looking to find all the families of men and women that gave their lives in Vietnam. We are seeking these families or friends in hopes of retrieving a picture that will be used for a memeorial and display in our traveling muesuem. This is the Gold Star Honor Roll Program, aka the Vietnam Project. Upon completing this task, we would like to find families or friends of all who died for our beloved country. If you can help me out in amy way, not only would I greatly appreciate it, but so would the families of these brave soldiers, but most importantly so will they. My Uncle Richard Clark died of Agent Orange,20 years ago. I heard that there is something going on with another wall. I would love to get some information on that.I never knew my Uncle, hes my moms brother. I am trying to get his name on the wall for my grandmother. that would be her dream come true.PLEASE HELP ME. donald served as cpl e4 army selective service in the 11th light infantry brigade. i am his niece and i am looking for any information about him from anyone who may have served with him. his tour of duty began on nov.26 1967 and he was killed in quang tin south vietnam on aug 24 1968. if anyone has any information please contact me at fourheartrodieswife@yahoo.com god bless all veterans lisa thomas

Just found the following (actually found two) article from the 'Lead Belt News' in Flat River, now Park Hills, Missouri. Delbert was a close friend of the family, and I have been looking for this information for awhile. I had hoped to place it at the traveling Wall when it was in Cahokia, Illinois, but just found it in a box of keepsakes --- "DELBERT REESE KILLED IN VIETNAM". 'Mr. and Mrs. William Reese of 600 4th St., in Esther were notified Monday that their son, Delbert L. Reese was killed in action in Vietnam lat Friday, Feb. 2, at 1:30 pm [1968]. Delbert, aged 20, a graduate of Esther high School entered the Army in 1966 and had been stationed in Vietnam for 6 months. The family was notified Tuesday, this was Delbert's first trip out and was leading his men through the streets of Pleiku and was shot with a rifle by a sniper. The body will be brought back here for burial and the Caldwell Funeral Service will be in charge of arrangements.' Does anyone know of this.was anyone there?. This website is wonderful! Although my Dad did not serve in Vietnam he lost many of his friends and took care of those brave men who managed to get home injured and saw many, many nightmares that these brave men had. Most of our men who managed to survive have many long term consequences both physically and mentally from this war. I was not born yet but I feel yet so close to all of you who served in this war. It is heartbreaking to me that we lost so many young men there.You do not know how much I appreciate "The Wall". My Father cries each time he is there remembering all his buddies. My Father served in the Navy in Newport Rhode Island from 1969-1971. If any of you served there in that time period please email me.

my name is lisa thomas. i was not born when my uncle served and died in vietnam thus i do not know a lot about him as it is too hard for my grandmother to talk about him or what happened. she misses him dearly every day that goes by. i do know he served in the 11th infantry light brigade. he was killed on aug 24 1968 in the quang tin province. if anyone served with him in vietnam or in the states please email me at fourheartrodieswife@yahoo.com. the only thing everyone tells me is i got his red hair. thanks and god bless the vets
