I would truly appreciate any information anyone can provide about Lynn Ihrig. He was with A CO, 1st Marines, 1st Mardiv and was KIA on November 26,1967 while on patrol in Quang Tri, South Vietnam. Lynn was such a special person and I still miss him to this day. Would love to hear any stories about him or get any pictures any of you may have of him. I Will Never Forget

I was not very old during the war in Nam, but old enough I remember. I remember the news reports and asking my dad every question that could possibly be asked. He was not one of those radicals that took words out of context, he spoke the truth and supported all the troops. What I remember the most and still hurts to this day is the way you were treated upon your return home. That should have never happened. To this day, I wish there was a way to turn back the hands of time so that I could have been there to say "Welcome Home, you are loved!" I will never forget and my memory lives on in my daughter. She is joining the airforce and wants to be assigned in DC so as to be near The Wall. God Bless You All!

Vietnam War

My grandpa was in the war and lost many of his friends. He told me that one night he came out of his tent because his buddies were being loud and he also wanted to get some fresh air and of course smoke a cigg. But when he returned to his bed there were bullet holes and stabb wounds that nearly ripped his cought apart.
