Before my feet hit the floor this morning I said a prayer for all HEROES, those still with us and those resting in the presence of our Master. I, like many thousands I'm sure, attended my local Memorial Service this morning and as I listened to Taps being played I could not control my tears while thinking of all the families who were also reliving a lot of proud yet painful memories. We only had one Gold Star Mother in our assembly and as I walked up to hug her before leaving I wondered just how the Mothers of each of you felt when you left for service to this Great Nation and also how she could endure the loss of 2 sons. I just wanted to THANK EACH OF YOU. You're never forgotten by me.

THINKING OF YOU

I JUST WANTED TO TELL ALL THE VIETNAM VETS THAT I THINK OF YOU EVERY DAY,AND SAY A PRAYER FOR YALL EACH NITE. THOUGH I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YALL COULD HAVE POSSIBLY BEEN THROUGH AND WHAT YOU MUST CONTINUE TO GO THROUGH.YALL ARE ALL HEROS.MY TWO YOUNG CHILDREN WILL GROW UP KNOWING THIS.I HOPE THAT ONE DAY WE CAN GIVE YALL A HOMECOMING THAT YALL ALL DESERVE. I am trying to find my friends who served in 1969.I have reached 4 families of KIA.Will not give up till I reach those who fought in battle May 27th 1969.We lost 8 men.We have a lot to talk about.

After all of these years the servicemen are still missed. My cousin, Rodney Dwight Little, gave his life in Viet Nam. We grew up together and enjoyed each others' company. Now almost forty years later, there is still a pride and a sense of stillness that lingers. Well done, Rod, we are all still proud of you. Doc

Danny Joe Reagan

To all who served at HHD 97th MP Battalion HQ in 1970 to 1971 and knew Danny Joe Reagan (Turkey) he passed away from cancer on March 29, 2005 in North Carolina. He gave us all many happy memories while serving in Cam Rahn Bay and he will be sadly missed and I salute you Danny.
