hi if there is anyone out there that knew my great uncle, i would really love to hear from you i never got a chance to meet him, he was a tsgt in the air firce, born feb 10 1933, he died in lamdond s. vietnam, he was in the c-130 when it was shot down from the sky, he was an e-5, he died on sept 6 1968, please if anyone knew him or was in the air force with him please contact me, i would really like to know what you have to say about him, thank you.

I'm looking for anybody that knew my cousin Doyle Weaver. He was with Company B 1st batallion, 1st Marines. 0351 Rockets. He was shot on February 18, 1970 in South Quang Nam and passed away on May 14, 1970 at the USNH in Guam.

I searched the Wall and found that no Marines were killed on this day, October 20 in Nam. And that means on all those years that USA was there, on this day Marines were lucky. Or does anyone know of any Marines killed on OCTOBER 20. I wonder if there are other dates like this where the Corps lucked out.

Looking for someone who was in the Marines with our brother Michael Vancil who was killed June 17th 1966. Michael's address was PFC Michael Vancil 2nd Bn 1st Marines 3 Marine division Co. F. 3rd Platoon. Michael was from Detroit Michigan and went to Denby high school. He lived @ 10998 Longview Detroit Michigan before going into the Marine Corps. I received Captain Hellbach's name on a red bracelet in 1986; and would greatly appreciate the opportunity to return it to his family. I initally contacted the military when I saw his name on the Wall, but they discouraged me from contacting his family . However, I still have this bracelet; and feel the closure is very important, even after almost three decades. Captian Hellbach was from New Orleans, and I have no idea what condition his family are now in, or if they are in their own homes. I pray they are all okay; and will eventually contact me when they are able.
