Todd,I live in a small town in East Texas not far from the home town of Tex Ritter.a good friend of mine is Tex's cousin and if your interested I can give you her e-mail address.I know they have a Texas Hall of Fame for COUNTRY Music performers in Carthage Texas his home town.They also have a Tex Ritter Museum.

Just me being me

I constantly see the comments made about PTSD, the effect's of agent orange, I want their name on the wall after all these year's; etc. I mean no disrespect whatsoever, but I do not know of any other way to say this. God has chosen the day, the time, and the way that we will eventually go to be with Him. He has known this even before the day that He brought us into this world. I also suffer from PTSD, and the effect's of agent orange. I have also had many year's of counseling, not to mention two year's of having to swallow a Paxil every morning. It took me 21 year's before I could make a trip to "THE WALL", though I only live a two hour drive away. However, with all that having been said, when the day come's that God chose for me all those year's ago, I want no honor's, I do not want my name on the wall, for that is the way it was meant to me, God chose it to be that way, and I accept it. Please; let us understand and come to accept that "THE WALL", and all War Memorials are meant to be for the Real Hero's, of which I am not.

I am looking for Captain Holmes family in Billings, Montana. I have the bracelet with his name on it. I'm sure a family member would like to receive it. Anyone knowing this family please respond. The bracelet is inscribed Maj. David Holmes, 3-15-1966. I wore it in his honor with pride.

Hello everyone I am trying to see if I can find out any info on James Marvin Godsey he was a UNITED STATES MARINE who died in the Vietnam war.He is one of my Uncles I want his name to live on for I have names my son after him they share the same first and middle name and I would love to be able to tell him about him one day but I don't really know much.Just that he died serving our country which is a wonderful thing and I am very proud of him.But if there is anyone out there who knows anything about him please Please help me.
