Was your flight into Cam Rhan Bay TET 68 Stopped
. . Contributed By Dale W Harding (SGT) On Sunday, May 21, 2006
I was with the 12th Security Police at Cam Rhan Bay, during TET 68,got hit hard that night by Charlie, I called and stopped a "Freedom Bird" from landing on a damaged runway, it was redirected to another base. If you were on that flight and got home safe, I would love to hear from you. I was decorated for that nights service, most of all, I still have a good feeling in my heart, that I may have saved a few lives that night.

Memorial Day Project
. . Contributed By Julius On Monday, May 22, 2006
I am a first grade teacher in Arkansas. My class is reading the book "The Wall" by Eve Bunting. Each of my students has chosen a soldier to remember this week. We will research, write about, draw about, and share our soldier with the class this week. Our week will culminate with a memorial wall in our classroom (made out of butcher paper). Each student will write their soldier's name on our wall. I hope this small act of remembering will teach our students that we are free and safe because of the bravery demonstrated by each of our soldiers.

He joined the Marines in June, 1966 with Lynn Ihrig and escorted Lynn's body home in Dec. 1967. Lynn's Mom would so much like to see Eddie again so PLEASE contact me through my email address with any information about where Eddie is today.
