Christopher L. Shaeffer SP4 Army . . Contributed By Lisa Heglar On Saturday, June 03, 2006 Looking for any information regarding Christopher Shaeffer. Came close a couple of years ago but the dates didn't match since then I have reason to beleive that I was right and this individual who is deceased was my biological father. Wanting any information that may bring some knowledge and understanding of who this person was. I know he was from Lancaster, Ohio and died in Phuoc Long in 1970. I also want to say thank you to my Dad Jerry Bridges USN (retired) for adopting me and never ever once letting me think I wasn't loved or wanted. One families loss of a son gained another mans family a great kid if I do say so myself. Thank you for your love support and most of all your understanding of me needing the truth. You have my love and my respect! |

I went to see the Wall on Tour with my family and I have to say that is was vey moving. I stood by a vetern that had tears in his eyes and looked at my son (who was one at the time) and said that is why we did it. I will never forget him or what he said. God Bless all of you that have served and those that have lost there love ones to war |
