He was a buddy when his denturist father and southern born mother lived in Canada in 1967. We both ended up in various armed services throughout the the world but I don"t know what happened to him. I pray that he may still be alive and thriving.I fear that he may not.

I need a record of my dad, he was in the vietnam war and I would like to find out if he was exposed to "agent orange". I lost him when I was younger and I just want to find out more about him. His name is Ralph Eugine Hunt. Thank you.

Hi Gail, I will be more than happy to help you out. I just honored my brother at the wall with the ceremony called, "In Memory" ths past Monday. If you go on the website, www.vvmf.com you will find the info you need but it does need to be updated as the date is still listed for 2005 program/honorees. I needed to get his military papers from: www.nara.gov. If you have the papers, all you have to do then is fill out the form from the www.vvmf.com site. However, if you do not have any military papers, please do so as soon as possible as it took me from the end of April last year until mid-August to get them and then I sent them in to Washington which took 6 weeks. It was a beautiful and moving ceremony and the honorees were so deserving. If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to ask me. I would suggest to start the process as soon as possible especially if you do not have the necessary papers as they told me that it could take as long as 6 months to get them.

I am looking for anyone who served with my dad, James Arthur Herndon (nickname Peanut), in Vietnam in 1968-1969. He served with the 110th QM CO USAG Troop Com, (OVAA) Third Army. I also remember him talking about the 101st Division. He also served in 2 Tet Offensives while there. Anyone that remembers him, please get in contact with me. I want to know what he was like before the war changed him. He passed away March 11, 1998. He was exposed to Agent Orange, but couldn't prove it caused his . Thanks for reading my request.

Our father passed Jan, 10, 2005 after a long and hard fought battle with Agent Orange related cancer. At the age 19 he enlisted in the Marine Corps. As crew chief he served two years in vietnam as part of the 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, Squadron HMM-265. Dad and the crew of the helicopter he served on were shot down twice and was MIA for 15 days. Dad was decorated with the National Defence Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Navey Unit Commendation Medial, Combat Aircrew Insignia, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, cetifcate of Achievement, the air Medal, four Bronze stars and Two Silver Stars. Dad was Proud to serve his country And was proud to be a Marine. Theodore J Violissi Sr rest in peace. we are proud you, Love you, and miss you. For ever in your debt,your boys. Is there a spot for Dad on the wall

To all the brave men and women who served and protected this country during the Vietnam War, Thanks! I was a new born and only a child during the war, but I have since studied and tried to learn as much as I could about that era in our history. The way you all were treated was unfair and a sad testimony of what the so called "protestors" called a way to be active against the war. You all are heroes to me and your courage and bravery, I will not forget. To those who were lost, I will never forget. I just wish that the people of this country would feel the same.
