Bracelet Exchange Dennis Hammond 02/08/68
. . Contributed By Barb James On Monday, May 29, 2006
I was again at the site today and went to the bracelet exchange page, I found the name of the soldier on my bracelet listed under famlies who were looking for their loved ones bracelets. I tried to e-mail "Kristen" who is listed as the contact for the family but I guess the address is no longer valid because my e-mail was returned So I thought I would try this. If anyone is looking for the bracelet of SGT Dennis Hammond, 02/08/68 please contact me. My Dad Jack Eugene Gorbey was killed in VietNam exactly 1 month 03/08/68 after Dennis went missing and I know how important this is to family. I have worn the bracelet on and off for over 30 years and think his family deserves to know someone else still cares.

Christopher L. Shaeffer SP4 Army
. . Contributed By Lisa Heglar On Saturday, June 03, 2006
Looking for any information regarding Christopher Shaeffer. Came close a couple of years ago but the dates didn't match since then I have reason to beleive that I was right and this individual who is deceased was my biological father. Wanting any information that may bring some knowledge and understanding of who this person was. I know he was from Lancaster, Ohio and died in Phuoc Long in 1970. I also want to say thank you to my Dad Jerry Bridges USN (retired) for adopting me and never ever once letting me think I wasn't loved or wanted. One families loss of a son gained another mans family a great kid if I do say so myself. Thank you for your love support and most of all your understanding of me needing the truth. You have my love and my respect!
