He never recovered mentally from being a 19 yr. old MEDIC. He died of alcoholism 11 years ago. I was looking for someone who knew my brother, Bud. I was young when he did his tour, but I think he was there 1967-1968? He had a good friend he went through basic w/named John Mayo? If anyone knew either of these guys.please let me know. He was in the Army-Selective Service, 1st Infantry Division. He served in Binh Duong, South Vietnam from April 17, 1967 and was killed on July 7, 1967. I was only 9 years old when he died, but I will never forget him. I would appreciate any information. God Bless all those who served (especially those who gave the ultimate sacrifice) and their families. They will never be forgotten!
