Fellow  Marine
Well done Marine rest in peace
THE TIME you won your town the race We chaired you through the market-place Man and boy stood cheering by, And home we brought you shoulder-high. To-day, the road all runners come, Shoulder-high we bring you home, And set you at your threshold down, Townsman of a stiller town. Smart lad, to slip betimes away From fields where glory does not stay And early though the laurel grows It withers quicker than the rose. Eyes the shady night has shut Cannot see the record cut, And silence sounds no worse than cheers After earth has stopped the ears: Now you will not swell the rout Of lads that wore their honours out, Runners whom renown outran And the name died before the man. So set, before its echoes fade, The fleet foot on the sill of shade, And hold to the low lintel up The still-defended challenge-cup. And round that early-laurelled head Will flock to gaze the strengthless dead, And find unwithered on its curls The garland briefer than a girl’s. A.E. Housman, "Don't be afraid, I've redeemed you.
I've called your name. You're mine.

For he today, that sheds his blood with me, shall always be my brother.” Rest in peace brave soldier, you have not been forgotten. (W.Shakespeare) May God Bless you, for your Sacrifice!!!

A Marine to honor
Ronnie was the kind of person you always wanted as a friend, he would stand up for what was right at any cost. He was a kind yet tough guy. Everyone who got to know him was better off for the experience. We shared a few holes waiting out the incoming. God bless Ronnie!

friend of his Mother
I'm sorry I never knew you
I was living in Virden, Illinois and riding to work every day with Ronnie's Mother. I didn't realize at the time that he and I were the same age. His Mother was so excited that he was scheduled to come home. She left the Chistmas tree up and had all his packages wrapped and ready. I remember when she got the news.she was devestated.they couldn't get her to take that tree down. They had to do it while she was sedated. Your Mother loved you dearly Ronnie.I'm so sorry I never got to meet you. I will never forget your name. Rest peacefully and thank you for your sacrifice. Leanna
