I made it back home
With tears in my eyes I send this: Did not find out that you did not make it back until I got back home. Mom would not let me go when we agreed to bubby-enlist but let me go after you were in ITR.Ended up with 3rd Marine Amphibious Div. Da Nang Marble Mtn. 7/68-8/69. Hey bro. THERE STILL IS NO PEACE. my grandma first love

i don't know Mr Barkley personally but he was my grandma first love. When he died she wasn't able to get a picture nor an obituary when she attended his funeral she talks about him all the time an until yesterday i wasn't able to put a face to his name, i found a picture of him an i cant wait to show my grandmother now she can end her search for his picetures
