Ken  Taub Kman32446@aol.com Friend & High School Classmate 916 Mandrake St The Villages FL 32162 USA Friend & Patriot At Alexander Hamilton High School, Norman stood out amongst his peers. He was a doer not an watcher. If you were having a hard time he would help. That is the way he was. He always talked about the Air Force and being a pilot. I had the pleasure of seeing him at his home right before he left for Viet Nam. He flew his jet home for the day and he was so proud of being a pilot and going to serve his country. When he walked in wearing his pilots jump suit, you could see he was bursting with pride. I had just discharged from the Air Force when he came home and I was so proud of him as were his family. He is surly missed by all his friends, classmates, as well as his comrades in arms, never to be forgotten. Jul 1, 2011 |

joyce  rescigno rescigjoy@aol.com classmate 616 Hudson Avenue, Box 335 Stillwater NY 12170 USA To a Wonderful Elmsfordian Patriot Norman was such an inspiration to all even back at Alexander Hamilton High School, Elmsford, NY.
Norman was in the auditorium speaking on stage (I am not sure what the occasion was - perhaps Graduation)
I've always remembered his words to his fellow students, 'What you are to Be, you are now Becoming'.
That quote has stuck with me all my life....when I was teaching at-risk kids in the Bronx, at each of the graduations we had, I told the kids that quote, which was so appropriate for their circumstances talked about Norman, how he inspired me, about his supreme sacrifice and what a brave American he was.
Norman's legacy lives on....God Bless Him always and Bless all his Family.

Joseph  Samuels mhpesoj@hotmail.com Friend and Classmate Ð A.H.H.S USA 'We Serve For Freedom' ÒA Friend In Need Is A Friend IndeedÓ so the saying goes, but for me a reality. For those of us so fortunate to have known Norman quickly became aware of the nature of this gentle-man. I broke bread with his family, met his bride and attended a marmoreal service when a light went out in Elmsford. From a Sailor to an Airman, see you again soonÉ Jul 1, 2011 |

Robert  Mooney mooney.bob@gmail.com Classmate at Parks College. 19774 North Sagamore Rd. Fairview Park OH 44126 USA It has taken me a long time to write on this site. Norm impacted me deeply. I followed Norm in leading the Cadet Corps at Parks College and I cut hair with him in the dorm. I never knew a finer person one with such talent, dedication, faith and real humility. He was my role model. I was shocked when Norm made the ultimate sacrifice. I have had a rubbing of his name from The Wall in my office ever since the wall was erected. I will never forget him. I deeply appreciate and understand the sacrifice Norm made for me, for my family and for my country. I will never forget him and our days together at Parks. Feb 4, 2009 |

Aaron McLaughlin mcslugoal@hotmail.com Great Nephew Blue Blood Continues Dear Uncle Paulsen, I know we have never met, but growing up I have always heard of you. I recently learned more and with some search found you here. I thought you should know that the Air Force blue continues in the family from Paulsen through Corbitt, and now to McLaughlin. I am a Boom Operator on a KC-135 and have served my country for 7 years. Thank you for your service and sacrifice. I only could wish to die so honorably.
