Jude  Johnson Niece Edgerton Wi Hi Uncle Glen! Just wanted to let you know I was thinking of you. Veteran's Day is just around the corner again, so I thought I'd write you a line and tell you that I miss you, because I really do. I'll be there on November 11th though, to gab your ear off - so be prepared...ha, ha! Brad will be there to play Taps for you ,dad and uncle Jerry like he always does, and it makes me so proud that he does that for you guys...although, it makes for an extremely emotional day. Love you always...

Brad  Johnson Nephew Edgerton WI Uncle Glen, my mother encouraged me to write letters to you as a young boy when you were in Vietnam I thank God she did that. I was at Grandma/Grandpa's house the day two marines showed up to let us know you were gone. Like my sister, I visit your grave often I take care of the flowers, get you new flags and on Memorial Day and Veteran's Day I play taps in your honor. I am grateful for your service but miss you and wish you were around to be my Uncle. Jan 31, 2011 |

jude  johnson His Loving Niece Edgerton WI 53534 USA I Wish I Had Known You ... I was only four years old when you left us, but I wish I could have known you...I think you would have liked me. Us Bjerke's have a mischievous streak in us a mile wide - thanks to grandpa Paul - so I think we would have gotten along famously! When I go to the cemetery to visit you, dad, grandma & grandpa and uncle Jerry, I wonder if you can hear me talking to you...I hope you can. Oh, just FYI...I'm the one who never shuts up! Ha, ha!! I miss you and want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for fighting for me...for all of us. I love you, jude Jan 17, 2011 |
