God Bless you Hero. By reading some of the messages that have been left on your site you touched alot of lives. You were just a young person at the time and probably had not had a chance to live the life that we all want to live before we decide to settle down and go about our lives. Thank you for standing up and going to defend our country and our way of life. I only wish that our politicians had realized that what was going on over there was where we should not have been. Rest in peace Brother and God Bless you.

The traveling wall with your name on it has come to our town. It is 2 blocks away, at the track that your great-niece and I walk on regularly. I am glad that I will be able to show my daughter your name, but I wish that we both could have known you in life. Thank you for the freedom we have, that you sacrificed your life for. God bless you.

There is an inscription, on a Gate, at Arlington, National Cemetery, that reads 'Rest easy, sleep well, my brothers. Know, the line has held, your job is done. Rest easy, sleep well. Others have taken up, where you fell, the line has held, Peace, peace and farewell.

Never Been Forgotten
It is very sad how you died. It touches me very much of what you did for our country. You fought your heart out I and I want to tell you that you’ll never be forgotten. But you weren’t alone you died with three other men. Fighting for our country was a very big contribution to make this nation what it is today. “Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country,” as John F. Kennedy once said. You’re my hero, and I admire you very much. Rest in peace.

Your sister had intoduced us through Church, we began dating just before you left for Viet Nam, you were such an all-American handsome gentleman! I knew when I hadn't recieved your letter in a month that something had to be wrong. I came home from my grandfather's funeral and walked up to the 7-11 in Brandon and saw your sister's friend Cosette. It was then she told me that you had died in Viet Nam and had been buried for a month. I remember you writing and thanking me for the ribbon with the Bible scriptures on it. I visited your gravesite to pay honor to you. Cosette said you held off the enemy so your buddies could go on. I believe you did that because, you seemed like you had that kind of heart. I'm thankful for the war memorial to be able to say goodbye and tell you Thank you for your sacrifice for us all. Elaine

"FROM, A CLOSE FRIEND'S, BROTHER"
Allen, was a friend of mine, through, my older brother, Barry. They were, the best friends, ever. They were, always together, playing guitars and banjos, they planned, on taking it to the professional level, one day, they were, that good. They joined, the army on the buddy plan, but of course, were seperated. I'll never forget, when i heard, he was killed. The Beatle's song, "Across The Universe," was playing and i'll, always remember him, when i here, that song. My brother, came home safe, but i always new, nothing, would ever, be the same.
