Uncle Ben, you are forever, in our hearts
Uncle Ben, I'am your great nephew, Alex Castaneda. I wish I could have, had the chance, to know you, but fate had, other plans. In the years, after your death, my father enlisted. I'm sure it was, to avenge, your death. In the month, before he was, to be deployed, I was conceived. I have a strong belief, that it was, with the notion, that he was not going, to make, it back. I was born, while he was, still, in Saigon. Though he survived, the effects of the war, have weighed heavy, on his soul. I have dedicated my life, to becoming a history teacher, so as to teach future, generations, of our losses and the horrors of war, in the hopes, that we will not make, the same mistakes. Lots, of love, your great nephew, Alex.

Sir, you fell to the enemy, just 1, day short, of your 41, birthday and for that sir, you will never, never be forgotten, for because of you, I'am sitting here, thanking you and all, of your buddies, that are fallen, but have gone up, to heaven.
