“You are Remembered”
Peace and condolence, to the family and friends. “He which hath no stomach, to this fight, let him depart. But we in it, shall be remembered. We few, we happy few, we band of brothers!! For he today, that sheds his blood with me, shall always be my brother.” Rest in peace brave soldier, you have not been forgotten. (W.Shakespeare) May God Bless you, for your Sacrifice!!!

Never Forgotten
when I was 13 I had a crush on you; the older brother of my friend and classmate. You were the Fair haired boy with the big smile. I was 16 when we heard we would never see that smile again. So many years have passed and much has changed, the Cumberland House as most people in the neighborhood remember it; is now The Smile Herb Shop, how befitting but to me it is the Cumberland house and when I'm there I can still feel the Warmth and presence of your family and imagine your big smile.

I remember you well from Holy Redeemer. You made all of us smile, your joy of life was contagious. You dyed your hair green on St. Patrick's Day! Too many from Holy Redeemer are gone. You're loved and you're missed.

I wanted to say, that I have, never forgotten Paul. Neither his sense, of humor, nor his love, of life. I visit "The Wall," 2-3, times, a year and make sure, that I visit, his panel, touch his name and say, "hello and thank you," for his sacrifice. Tim Reed, Fellow Vietnam Vet.

I had, the opportunity to visit, The Vietnam Memorial Wall. I was so overwhelmed, with sorrow and pain, that I could not hold back the tears, for those heroes and their families, who lost so much. Though my visit, to the Wall was a few years ago, I feel, that I left a piece, of my heart there. To honor those, who died in the Vietnam, War and to say thank you, I created a small tribute, to those heroes. Please click, on the link above, to view, my website.

Paul had, just gotten off a helicopter, from returning, from R&R. He found out, that his good friend, Tom Skally had been killed, while he was away. We were gearing up, for a patrol, on a ridgeline and Paul insisted, on going on the patrol. We tried, to talk him, out, of it. The patrol, came under fire, from a small, tree line and Paul, was killed instantly. I got, to him fairly quickly, but there was nothing, I could do. He was respected, by all of his fellow, Marines and a privilege, to have known.
