Though you, are gone, you will, never be forgotten! You and men, like you, are the reason we are free, today! I just wanted, to say, THANK YOU, for the sacrifices, that you made! I hold you and those, like you, in the highest, regard and you deserve, nothing less! I love you, all, you were and always, will be HEROES, to me! I promise, never to take for granted, the freedoms, I have, which you paid, the ultimate price for! Happy Birthday! Let no man, be forgotten… I WILL REMEMBER YOU!!! Gratefully yours, Jenn

Well done Marine rest in peace
THE TIME you won your town the race We chaired you through the market-place Man and boy stood cheering by, And home we brought you shoulder-high. To-day, the road all runners come, Shoulder-high we bring you home, And set you at your threshold down, Townsman of a stiller town. Smart lad, to slip betimes away From fields where glory does not stay And early though the laurel grows It withers quicker than the rose. Eyes the shady night has shut Cannot see the record cut, And silence sounds no worse than cheers After earth has stopped the ears: Now you will not swell the rout Of lads that wore their honours out, Runners whom renown outran And the name died before the man. So set, before its echoes fade, The fleet foot on the sill of shade, And hold to the low lintel up The still-defended challenge-cup. And round that early-laurelled head Will flock to gaze the strengthless dead, And find unwithered on its curls The garland briefer than a girl’s.
A.E. Housman, "Don't be afraid, I've redeemed you. I've called your name. You're mine.

Peace and condolence, to the family and friends. “He which hath no stomach, to this fight, let him depart. But we in it, shall be remembered. We few, we happy few, we band of brothers!! For he today, that sheds his blood with me, shall always be my brother.” Rest in peace brave soldier, you have not been forgotten. (W.Shakespeare) May God Bless you, for your Sacrifice!!!

I rode the train to PI with Bags and served with him in Plt. 3084 Aug. 1966. In ITR at Geiger there were several of us that were pretty tight. Bags, Mike Farmer and Cliff Bennet and myself. When a quota came in for jump school they grabbed it right up. I decided to "sleep on it". Next day I went to sign up. Quota was full. The three of them were dead within a year. I think of them often. Great bunch of guys. Lots of laughter and kidding around. Life was an adventure.

Bob Bagnall went through boot camp with me at Parris Island in 1966. We were in Platoon 3084. We also went to Jump School at Fort Benning in January of 1967. He was a fine young man and Marine. He was considerate, friendly and courageous. God bless him. I think of him still.

Friend
I grew up with Rob. As a kid we called him Robbie. He was one of my best friends. He was outgoing, friendly, and honest. He had a warm heart and was quick to laugh. We had lots of fun together. He encouraged me to try good things I might otherwise have avoided. I miss him.
