Stephen Clement stenal@msn.com class mate 8607 35 th Avenue College Park, Md. 20740 U.S.A. Good Friend and Classmate Steve and I went to high school together. He was class president, BMOC, all around good guy, fantastic student, and he was always upbeat. Steve did not have to join the service, if he had been drafted he probably would not have been placed on the front lines because of his other talents. With that said, Steve was a volunteer, his sense of duty and patriotism demanded from him to share the experiences and hardships that other defenders of our country had before. He would not shirk his sense of duty, even at a time when others were questioning the validity of our efforts there. His passing left a void in all of his friends lives. Here then is a true hero of our country, one who paid the ultimate sacrifice for his beliefs and someone we should all remember. Friday, July 12, 2002 |
