Madeline Wright Hoover Classmate - Ruskin Class of 1967 Craig, we were together in Mr. Boone's bookkeeping class our senior year. You sat in front of me and would sometimes turn around and ask me for help which I gladly provided. We would sometimes talk and laugh before the bell rang and we couldn't wait for graduation! We went our separate ways trying to make our way in life. You gave the ultimate sacrifice -- your life -- 20 May 1970 in Cambodia. I was in tears as I walked towards "The Moving Wall" in Marquette MI 9 Aug 1992 to trace your name. You were my classmate and friend. . . and always will be. I wish you could be with us for our 40th class reunion this year. Feb 26, 2007 |

Kathy Kidd kiddiecarz@charter.net was married to Craig's first cousin 1179 Colby Court Saint Peters, MO 63376 USA Still Think About You Craig, your cousin, Bryan, was in awe of you. I will never forget your funeral. I was young and I was extremely moved by your dedication and also of the soldier that traveled back to the states with you and was at your side during the funeral. What brotherhood! I was always proud to have been "related" to you and I'm sure God has a special place in Heaven for fallen soldiers! Monday, May 16, 2005 |

Terry Duvall tduvall@netnitco.net I was searching the wall for fallen comrades that share my same birthday (11/12/49). I too served in the Armed Forces (Army, 3rd Division) during the Vietnam conflict but was spared having to make the ultimate sacrifice as so many willing did. I just want to make sure that this brave man (and all the others) are never forgotten. Because of them, I am able to enjoy my later years with my children and grand children (something they will never know). Saturday, December 27, 2003 |

Natalie Alvarado-Kline kansas city, MO With Gratitude Craig, I never knew you, but my brothers did and my parents did. They told me how tall you were because you left your finger prints on their ceiling. I recently made a visit to the memorial that honors you and did a paper scratch of your name. I'm going to frame it for my family. Fortunately, my brothers came home from that war. I can only imagine what loss your family feels. I just want you to know how grateful I am to you and to your family for the ultimate sacrifice you have given to serve your country. To the tall young man with unwashed hands, thank you. You are remembered. Wednesday, March 31, 2004 |
