Francis Kaufman HONORING your memory on your birthday for the day you made the SUPREME SACRIFICE on December 18th 1972. Robert was among many brave Americans killed, wounded and taken prisoner during what was called the "Christmas Bombing" campaign in December 1972, it was part of the "madman theory" Nixon and Kissinger thought up to force North Vietnam back to the Peace Talks which were stalled at the time. Shortly thereafter the U.S. and North Vietnam completed a treaty which gave us "Peace with Honor". Robert, you are not forgotten nor shall you ever bee. Friday, December 19, 2003 |
