Manuel Pino Jr Bco 2/8th 1st Cav 68-69 mpjr54@msn.com Fellow Medic NATIVE AMERICAN PRAYER It is said a man hasn't died as long as he is remembered. This prayer is a way for families, friends and fellow veterans to remember our fallen brothers and sisters. Do not stand at my grave and weep I am not there, I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning hush, I am the swift, uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight, I am the stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there, I did not die Sunday, September 25, 2005 |

Jackie Taylor ~Grateful American~ You, Sir, Have Not, Been Forgotten! http://www.geocities.com/rememberance004
During my visit, to The Vietnam, Memorial Wall, in Washington DC., I searched and found, the names of my friends, classmates, neighbors, etched, into the smooth, black, face, of the Wall, an extraordinary outpouring of emotion, became so strong. I was so overwhelmed, with sorrow and pain, that I could not hold, back the tears, for those heroes and their families, who lost, so much. Though my visit, to the Wall, was a few years ago, I feel, that I left a piece, of my heart there. To honor, those who died, in the Vietnam War and to say thank you, I created, a small tribute, to those heroes. Please click, on the link above, to view, memorial website. Tuesday, March 07, 2006 |
