I had the fortune to never lost a men under my command I bought them home, however I saw how the CO of the other compnaies in my battalion felt if somebody got hit.
My deepest respect for the guys sacrifying there lives
I served in the army several year though as Austrian I didnt need to get into combat howeber I served several times as peackeeper and saw the face of the war respect for 1Lt Byrnes
