Bonjour Bob, I PRAY THIS NOTE FINDS YOU AND THOSE WHO LOVE YOU WELL. GOD WILLING. BOB, I WILL NOT BE IN LA SIERRA FOR THIS MOST IMPORTANT REMEMBERANCE OF OUR VIET NAM VETS, BUT I ASSURE YOU I SHALL BE THERE IN SPIRIT. I ALWAYS GIVE WHAT I CAN TO OUR VETS, AND PRAY THEY WILL ALWAYS RECEIVE THE HONOR THEY DESERVE! I CANNOT FIGHT WITH A GUN, BUT I CAN WITH ME WORDS, BELIEFS, AND DEEDS. GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS, ALL THOSE WHO HAVE FOUGHT AND DIED FOR OUR FREEDOM, AND FREEDOM AROUND THE WORLD. BLESS YOU MY FRIEND, FOR POSTING THIS REMINDER OF THE REMEMBERANCE OF THOSE VIET NAM VETS WHO SHOULD BE REMEMBERED ALWAYS! SINCERELY, CAROLYN

to see the smile on his face reminds me to try and enjoy th freedoms that these wonderful soldiers have fought so hard to give us. I am proud to be an American and the fact that we have individuals like Lt Byrnes fighting for us makes me even more proud to say that. Thank you to Lt Byrnes and his family for all of their sacrifices for they are many.

Not Forgotten
Bob, I felt compelled to post this. The last time I saw you was in '63, our Senior Years . It's been so long, I can remember you went to college. But, you surely must have volunteered rather than being drafted, because the intelligence and ambitition you possessed back then would certainly have lead you to a degree and successful life. Rumor was that when you were fatally hit, you had just got married to. How profoundly ironic, if true. Our generation lost a natural leader who would have contributed much to this world. Hopefully, your parents will see this and know there are many of us who still remember and miss you. Kay
