MSGT (E8) Loughton Smith and I were assigned to MACV Advisory Team 2 with the 2nd RVN Division in in 1967 in QuangNgai. Loughton was the Engineer Advisor who worked directly for Capt. Gary Frank Wallace, the Enginee Advisor. I was the G2 Advisor. Gary and Loughton were both killed while we were on a combat operation in Quang Ngai Province. I have a photo of Gary and hope to be able to publish it on the internet on this page. Thanks Loughton for installing the much needed combat radio in my G2 jeep. RIP LOUGHTON AND GARY.
